Just days ahead of the upcoming Men’s Asia Cup, the Indian cricket team have been handed a massive setback as their title sponsor - Dream11 withdrew from the deal following the passing of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025. With the central government posing a ban on real-money gaming platforms under the new bill, Dream11 had no option but to make an exit from the role.
However, the gaming platform had a year left in the deal, which has been active since 2023, the sudden decision from the government has now opened doors for other brands and platforms to join in. While the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will have a daunting task to close on to a sponsor before the marquee continental tournament, there are several big brands who have shown interest regarding the same.
Here in this article, SportsTiger has listed three possible brands who are likely to taken on the sponsorship for Team India.
Let's take a look at three Brands that could sponsor Team India after Dream11’s exit:
1. Tata

After having secured a deal in one of the prime T20 franchise leagues around the world - Indian Premier League (IPL) until 2028, Tata - a multi-national company is one of the safest companies who could complete a deal with the BCCI as Team India’s title sponsor. Being a credible company with a financial muscle and a legacy backing them, Tata could go on to become the leading sponsors.
2. Reliance Jio
While Tata isn’t the only multi-national firm who are the front-runners to secure this deal as reliance Industries - Reliance Jio have also redefined themselves in the market. Already providing the services in the Indian cricketing circuit through JioCinema, Reliance Jio would want to consolidate their position as they look to secure Team India’s title sponsorship deal.
3. Amul
While it is said to be a tough fight between the conglomerates, Amul - a dairy co-operative in India, based out of Anand, Gujarat - could also become Team India’s sponsors. The largest dairy co-operative in the world, Amul has previously held the official sponsorship of the Indian contingent at the Asia Games 2022 in Hangzhou as well as the Tokyo Olympic Games. Notably, Amul have also sponsored international cricket teams such as South Africa and the USA in the T20 World Cup 2024.
