Ever since the successful completion of the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League, there has been a lot of cricketing action, and you can say that there has been no dearth of it whatsoever. Surely for nearly 3 months on the whole, the IPL was the only go to Cricket action to follow, but not anymore. Multiple international Cricket Team contest are taking place in different parts of the globe that the fans are tuned to.
The Premier ICC T20 event, which is the women’s T20 World Cup is taking place in the UK, there is also the men’s Cricket Team action which is taking place in the West Indies with Sri Lanka, touring the Caribbean. On the other hand, New Zealand are playing test contest in England while Afghanistan are presently in India for a comprehensive series.
But at the same time, rising and upcoming cricketers from India and Afghanistan are also involved in the tussle, which is taking place in the subcontinent that also features Sri Lanka. The tri series India A, Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A is the key talking point where youth cricket in the Indian subcontinent is concerned.
But even as fans may have certainly moved from the IPL 2026 season, which was another comprehensive affair culminating in an RCB victory, it’s not quite possible to move on from a certain audacious talent called Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
For someone who emerged as the highest run scorer in the 2026, edition of the IPL, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s that hardly knows how to fall silent and has been constantly amongst the destructive works. However, in India A versus Sri Lanka A game, the familiar Sooryanvanshi magic was nowhere to be seen.
And truth be told, it’s only far too human to err- isn’t it?
Uncompromising, brave, fearless that he might be with the bat he’s still a young cricketer, and we ought to remember that. Isn’t it? Even though Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s best days lie ahead in the future. It is important to remember that in his run up to the Indian Men’s Senior Cricket Team, they will be ups and downs, and he has to make the most of those in his days.
In a team, comprising Gaekwad, Badoni, Tilak Varma and Prabhsimran Singh, even Vaibhav Sooryavanshi too, formed an important part of the contest. And it is expected that he’ll soon be back among the big runs, which is his usual modus operandi.
Also, what’s interesting to note is that slated to feature in the men’s senior international T20I side for the T20 contests against Ireland, Sooryavanshi’s big and much anticipated debut now stands in a bit of a situational scuffle owing to the ongoing regional conflicts that are taking shape back in Ireland. If it were to come true and it might, it’ll be a huge occasion to see such a bright and young cricketer wearing the Indian jersey even before he turns 16. But if not, one must remember, there’s always another time. What do you think?
