Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s perfect start to the world of international cricket has once again been boosted after the teenage opener gained impressive ground in the latest ICC Men's T20I Batting Rankings. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi gained 230 ranks in ICC T20I rankings after Zimbabwe Series and reached his highest career rank of 48 after his impressive show during India's tour of Zimbabwe. The teenager further continued his upward journey with some brilliant knocks during India's tour of Zimbabwe and turned his debut series into an unforgettable milestone.

Sooryavanshi ended the three-match series of T20I as the leading run-getter by scoring 151 runs with an average of 50.33 runs per game. The teenager was instrumental in helping India register a 3-0 victory in the series and also won the title of Player of the Series for the very first time in his international career. Sooryavanshi hit two fifties in the series, one a

quick fifty in 19 balls and another his highest score in the format of 81 runs from 49 balls.

While Sooryavanshi stole the show with his impressive rise, Ishan Kishan held onto his title as the world's No. 1 T20I batter. The left-handed sensation wrapped up the series with 910 rating points, having briefly hit a career-high of 916 during the Zimbabwe series, thanks to his stellar 81-run performance in the second T20I. His peak rating now stands as the third-highest ever recorded by a batter in T20I history. Only India's Abhishek Sharma, who reached 931 rating points, and England's Dawid Malan, with 919, have achieved higher ratings in this format.

India's commanding series also saw several other players making strides in the latest ICC rankings. Tilak Varma moved up two spots to sixth among T20I batters after another solid performance, while captain Shreyas Iyer jumped seven places to 24th following a fruitful series with the bat. On the bowling side, Ravi Bishnoi experienced one of the most significant leaps, soaring 31 places to 41st after taking three wickets against Zimbabwe. This rankings update showcased India's impressive all-around performance during the tour, highlighting contributions from both seasoned players and rising stars.
