There are many good hitters out there. But some come with an added difference in their craft, as one would note. As a matter of fact, there are a few good haters in the game who thanks for the consistency of hitting hit and that towering ability to clear the ropes with phenomenal ease as Venkatesh Iyer. For someone who is so tall, remarkably fit and an agile hitter of the cricket ball to different parts of the ground, somewhere you have to say that it’s a bit of shame that we don’t get to see Venkatesh Iyer as frequently or as often as we ideally should.

He can simply treat with bowlers with utter disdain and most recently he is demonstrated live example of that to a packed crowd that came watching the famous MPL games that are currently being held in his native Madhya Pradesh.

As a matter fact, it just did not take much time for Venkatesh Iyer to quickly change gear and adapt himself from a completely different format shifting from an international franchise league of repute, such as the IPL to another league of more of domestic repute, such as the MPL.

But you might ask, just why is this lavish Price? What did he do most recently that has earned him repute and headlines?

So here’s what you want to know, do not look elsewhere.

Scoring a sublime knock of 54 runs, one that came up just 22 or deliveries. Venkatesh Iyer struck a memorable half century for his Indore Pink Panthers side contesting in the interesting and widely followed Madhya Pradesh Premier League. In some ways, one could say that the league is pretty much the Indian Premier League equivalent of the Madhya Pradesh state.

But to this league, big names concerned with Indian cricket are involved. One among them- Venkatesh Iyer. Hitting the white ball at a strike rate north of 245, not only did Iyer, the gritty right hander attack and put up a show for the opposition to deal with. He led by an example and put forth the classic example of just what it means to take charge as skipper and show the way with the bat in hand.

But this is not some isolated or random half-century. It’s another towering knock, which is coming at the back of what has been an exemplary showing in the most recently completed IPL 2026 season.
