The second edition of the Vidarbha Premier League (VPL) 2026, featuring both men's and women's tournaments, will run from June 1 to June 14, 2026, featuring an expanded format and a new mascot named 'Waghoba'. The men's tournament will be held at VCA's Jamtha Stadium, while the women's tournament will take place at the VCA Civil Lines Stadium.
Each team will play each other once in the league stage, and two matches each in the Super League before moving to the Play-Offs. The Play Offs, as usual, will include Eliminator, Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2 and Final. The women’s tournament will also have six league games and two knockout matches with a Qualifier and Final. 132 players will go under the hammer on May 3rd as the auction for VPL 2026.
“The VPL 2026 will be telecast live on Sony (TEN 5) and streamed on a leading OTT platform, with matches enriched by a decorated commentary panel featuring a galaxy of former Indian cricket stars,” announced VPL Governing Council Chairman Prashant Vaidya.
