The Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has once again been caught in a ‘like’ controversy as this time the controversy erupted when he had liked the photo of LizLaz on Instagram. This interaction went viral as many fans made memes and it was trending on the internet. Unlike last time when he had blamed the algorithmic glitch for liking Avneet Kaur’s post, this time he has remained silent. There was a certain post on Instagram that included photos of Anushka Sharma, LizLaz, Avneet Kaur and Virat Kohli’s ex-girlfriend, Izabelle Leite, stating that his taste in women is elite.

Followed by which, Izabelle commented on the same post “It's been 12 years and counting. Why can't people get over it?” .

Izabelle Lleite and Virat Kohli had dated between 2012 and 2014, before he met Anushka Sharma. The obsession of Indian fans over the personal life of celebrities has been a point of discussion and that probably justifies the decision for Virat Kohli to move to the UK. The Indian media kept on asking Izabelle even after their break up and she had found it uncomfortable earlier on. Her comment is very valid as it has been over a decade since things happened and the fact that the Indian media refuse to let go of it hints at the suffocation that cricketers face

Instagram activity sparks debate again while focus remains on Kohli’s form and RCB’s campaign

Virat Kohli has been in fine form this season as he has scored 247 runs from 6 innings and he stands at the 3rd place in the race to the Orange Cap. The RCB batter has once again proved to be their best as he played a splendid innings against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the opening game. He then didn’t seem to be at his best as he was struggling for timing. His frustration was visible in the game against the Mumbai Indians as he had thrown away his gloves and helmet. The kind of mentality that Virat possesses is to not settle for the minimum and to try and contribute as much as possible for his team. He was struggling to achieve that since the first game of the season.

But, the Indian star batter looked completely in control in the game against the Lucknow Super Giants as he scored a solid 49. This innings was completely different from his previous matches as he was timing the ball to perfection. Virat Kohli however did not look at his best in the game against the Delhi Capitals. It is evident that the batter is just trying to up his intent by scoring faster but it does not seem to be paying off as much as he would like.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru will take on the Gujarat Titans on Friday and Virat Kohli will be hopeful that he can bring out his best game. It is beyond doubt that the fans will be backing him for a big score and they will expect their ‘King’ to reclaim the Orange Cap for the season.
