Royal Challengers Bengaluru star batter Tim David once again proved that he is one of the most approachable cricketers. Recently, the cricketer put his cool demeanor on display as a fan forcefully attempted to get a selfie with him. In a video going viral on social media, a fan was seen approaching David while the cricketer was trying to get into his car outside the airport. The fan, who wanted to take a selfie with the star cricketer, was seen stepping into David’s personal space with a phone, that too without any consent.
While moments like this could easily trigger any player and escalate the situation, the Australian batter calmly handled the situation. Instead of getting irritated, David maintained his composure, and returned the phone to the fan without a selfie. The cricketer’s reaction quickly went viral on social media suggesting that it is important to respect a player’s personal boundaries and ask for consent rather than forcefully taking selfies or interacting with them.
Tim David aims to get back to form against MI
In their fourth game of the season, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be up against the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, April 12. Both teams will step into the game on the back of losses and aim to get back to winning runs. While the Indians have only been able to record one victory, the defending champions went down against Rajasthan Royals in the previous game.
Tim David, who remained not out against Chennai Super Kings and played a crucial 70 runs knock to guide the side to a blowout win, could only manage to post 13 against the Royals. In the upcoming game, he would aim to get back to the winning run and put on a stellar power-hitting show against the five-time champions in Mumbai.
