An incident which occurred during the Super 8 stage match between India and South Africa at Ahmedabad has gone viral on social media. This involved Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir and Hardik Pandya. Both are known for their bold personality and attitude both on and off the field. Gambhir is someone who is very focused and as a coach wants the best from his players.
This incident happened when India were fielding, Hardik Pandya was having a chat with Gautam Gambhir from the boundary line. Gambhir was seen giving some serious advice from the dugout and Hardik was all in smiles listening to it. Gambhir got angry with this behavior and his reaction has gone viral on social media.

It is not known what the conversation between the two was but from the video it is clear that Gambhir was pointing something at Hardik and was disappointed but Hardik gestured in a smiling way explaining something while taking the drink. Gambhir was furious and was seen telling Hardik Pandya something else for which the Indian all-rounder nodded his head. This video has gone viral with plenty of fans commenting on this topic.
Hardik Pandya did not have a good game with the ball as he gave away 45 runs in his four overs and went wicketless. Hardik was taken to the cleaners in the final over where Stubbs scored two sixes to finish off the innings.
South Africa have scored 187 in the first innings and it is a terrific recovery from South Africa. They were 20/3 at one stage but Miller and Brevis provided some impetus and counter-attacked as Miller scored a half century of just 26 balls. Stubbs provided the finish as South Africa reached a terrific total at the end of the first innings and India will have the work cut out.
