SunRisers Hyderabad batter Heinrich Klassen pulled out a reverse scoop shot off a Kartik Tyagi delivery for a six. Notably, the Hyderabad-based franchise was up against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the sixth game of the IPL 2026 on Thursday, April 2. Batting first, the Kavya Maran-owned franchise put up a total of 226 runs off eight wickets. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma got their team to a flying start and later Klassen’s half century as well as Nitish Kumar Reddy’s 39 off 24 helped the Orange Army put up a colossal total.

In the 18th over, when Klassen was on 34 off 28 with just two boundaries off his bat, the former Proteas batter came up with a reverse scoop shot, and the ball flew over the third-man fence for a maximum. Klassen was later dismissed in the final over off a Blessing Muzarabani delivery after being caught out by Ramandeep Singh, while attempting another delivery. In his knock, the 34-year-old came up with four boundaries and one maximum.

In addition to it, he has amassed 6,269 runs overall in the 20-over format from 278 matches, including 38 fifties and three tons.
