In the most recently completed contest in the Indian Premier League, even the mighty and usually comprehensive Rajasthan Royals found it hard, rather challengingly hard, to get on top of the Gujarat Titans. A team vastly resurgent and clinical in all aspects of the game, the Titans played true to the spirit of the game and their name and in the end, beat the Royals by a margin as mighty as 77 runs. Think about it for a moment. To win a contest by 77 runs is, in any format, a feat worthy of huge regard. This then was a T20 contest. So more power to them for playing as well as they have been in this business end of the 2026 edition of the Indian Premier League. But earlier in the contest, even before the game could reach its halfway stage with the Gujarat Titans batting first-an important moment took place, which at the time of its occurrence did really place the Rajathan Royals in top command of the game.
It was none other than Ravindra Jadeja who removed the danglers Jos Buttler for a score of just 13.
But in the immediate aftermath of the Englishmanâs wicket, Jadeja came up with a a fresh and perhaps unexpected celebration. It was the âin my pocketâ celebration.
A gesture in which he slipped his hand into the pocket to take out a chit that meant that the batter was in his pocket as he had been dismissed by the experience spinner.
The incident, in lighter vein, sparked headlines and became a trendy item over the hyped world of social media.

However, that wasnât all!
Later on, in the second innings of the game, when the great Rashid Khan came out to bowl and he did so with great intent, he must have had something in his mind perhaps with Jadeja and his unexpected celebration as the key reminder of what to do next.
Post taking 4 clinical wickets and bowling a lethal spell, it was Khanâs turn to make some noise over social media.
And he did so in quite some style.
Taking to his Instagram page in the contestâs aftermath, Rashid Khan made a short and snappy clip.
A reel that appealed especially to the GT fans and why wouldnât have that been the case?
He made a gesture of finding a chit out of his pockets in which this time around, he slipped in his hand and took out a small sheet of paper that read + 2.
This was his way of saying to the RR camp, that if they could get cheeky in their style of celebrating the wickets that fell in the match, then so too could the lads from the Titans.
And in the end, Rashid did bowl like a Titan.
He also took- by the way- the key wicket of a well set Ravindra Jadeja. Favour returned, then!
