A fresh controversy has emerged during a recent Pakistan Super League clash between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings, with questions raised over a possible ball-tampering incident involving Shaheen Afridi.

During the post-match presentation, former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja directly addressed Afridi about the issue. Referring to concerns raised during the match, Ramiz remarked that the ball appeared “prickly” and had been taken away, asking Afridi for his response.

Afridi, however, gave a measured reply, stating that the situation would become clearer if the incident had been captured on camera. His response neither confirmed nor denied the allegation, leaving the matter open to interpretation.  

The exchange has since sparked debate among fans and experts, with many calling for clarity through match footage or an official review.
