14-year-old young sensation from India, Vaibhav Suryavanshi continues to shine and make his mark whenever he plays. On January 7, leading India Under 19 side he shattered plenty of records on his way to a century. India Under 19 were batting first and had a great opening partnership between Aaron George an Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The stylish left hander became the youngest Under 19 captain to score a century in Youth ODI. He reached the milestone in 63 balls having smashed six fours and eight sixes to that point. Vaibhav Suryavanshi was finally dismissed for 127 of just 74 balls. He was involved in a 227 run opening partnership with Aaron George. Vaibhav smashed nine fours and ten sixes in this knock at a strike rate of more than 171. On the back of his excellent knock India A posted a target of 393 against South Africa A. He has been in stunning form and the upcoming U19 World Cup will be a stage which he can set on fire. The main event of U19 World Cup starts next week and Vaibhav is part of the squad.

In his young career, Vaibhav has already made big achievements. His rise to fame came when he was picked up by Rajasthan Royals in the IPL Auction. He made his debut last year and put the IPL audience on notice with some stunning knocks which included the famous century against Gujarat Titans.

He has shown great hunger for runs in 2025 as he scored a century for Bihar in SMAT, Vijay Hazare Trophy. He has also enjoyed good success with the India U19 side where he scored a century in the U19 Emerging Asia Cup. Vaibhav is leading the India U19 team in this series against South Africa U19 in the absence of Ayush Mhatre. It is safe to say has stepped up and shown his class.
