
Thangarasu Natarajan is a left arm medium pacer known for his ability to nail in the Yorkers in the T20 format. He made his debut in the IPL with Punjab Kings in 2017. But his rise to fame came in during his stint with the Sunrisers Hyderabad and he became the first Indian cricketer to make his debut across all three formats during the Australia tour of 2020/21. Natarjan plays for Tamil Nadu in the domestic circuit and has put in plenty of good performances in his career. The left arm pacer bowls at around 135 kmph and his accuracy for the yorkers made him very good for the T20 format.

Natarjan was sold for Punjab Kings for 3 crores in IPL 2017 auction which made him the highest uncapped Indian player during that time. He could not make an impact as he picked up two wickets in six IPL matches for PBKS and was released. Natarajan was then picked up by SRH in IPL 2020 and his best season came with SRH where he picked up 19 wickets in 14 matches. He was then picked up by Delhi Capitals for INR 10.75 Crore ahead of IPL 2026 and has had a good start for Delhi Capitals.

Natarajan picked up three wickets in the match against Lucknow Super Giants to kickstart the IPL 2026 campaign. He conceded 29 runs while picking up wickets of Ayush Badoni, Abdul Samad and Mohammad Shami. Delhi Capitals bowled LSG for 141 runs and it was an excellent effort from the left arm pacer. Natarajan has been the spotlight for Delhi Capitals and will be keen to have a very successful season.
