The Rajasthan Royals were off to a great start in the innings with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal putting up a 50-run opening stand. But since the wicket of Sooryavanshi, things went downhill for the side as none of the batters could get a good knock. They lost 8 wickets for just 74 runs. Varun Chakravarthy bowled brilliantly to pick up 3 wickets and he was complemented well by Kartik Tyagi who took 3 wickets as well.
The only batters who reached double figures in the middle order were Shimron Hetmyer and Riyan Parag. The spin duo of Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine were back in business as they picked up 5 wickets jointly. Kartik Tyagi was sensational with his spell as well as he dismantled their lower order. The Rajasthan Royals finished on 155 after 20 overs. It will be a difficult total for the Royals to defend as KKR have enough batting to chase this total down.

The X users appreciated the efforts of Varun Chakravarthy to spin his web around the Royals batting unit. Kartik Tyagi and Sunil Narine were also economical and picked wickets in crucial phases as well. The Kolkata Knight Riders have more than a chance to win the game and from here on, they can’t afford to lose the game.
