The Indian women’s side has been off to a decent start with the ball in hand against Bangladesh as they have managed to get a hold on the flow of runs and pick a couple of wickets. Renuka Singh drew first blood in the game with the important wicket of Dilara Akter in the second over. Then there was a crucial partnership building between Juairiya Ferdous and Sobhana Mostary but it was once again broken, credit to Nandni Sharma. Even though India haven’t really been able to exercise complete control over the game, they have managed to keep the run-rate low. India will be looking to pick up some more wickets in the next couple of overs and possibly limit them to a total near to 150.

The Bangladesh side has been filled with intent as they are trying to score runs off the loose deliveries and they were able to capitalize on the missed opportunities by the fielders. There were several dropped chances in the outfield and that’s the reason the brilliance of the bowlers isn't reflected on the scoreboard. Having lost 3 wickets already, it would be interesting to see what kind of target they would be looking at to have a game-winning total against India. India will be keen on tightening their grip on the game with a couple of quick wickets and clinical fielding.

Fans praise Renuka and Nandini for key breakthroughs

The viewers on X have been all praise for the bowling effort by the Indian side but they have also been critical regarding their fielding efforts. India has some sensational fielders in the side but today they have been sloppy in the field and they will be hoping that it doesn’t cost them the game. Here are some of the reactions on X:

India have been solid on their bowling front with some clinical bowling and Bangladesh have formed a couple of promising partnerships. Harmanpreet Kaur and his women will be keen on drawing a positive result from the game and they will be hoping to restrict them to a total below 150.
