
Jaiswal could not get going in the first few matches as he was dismissed cheaply by Jansen. There was some pressure mounting on him but he delivered in fine fashion in the series decider. He struggled a bit at the start against Jansen and Ngidi with the ball moving around. But he kept patience and eventually scored a half century of 65 balls.
Once he crossed the fifty mark he looked more positive and scored 22 runs in his next eight balls and then looking flawless and positive. He brought up his century in fine fashion and this knock included ten fours and a six. Jaiswal had some luck but he made the most of it. He played second fiddle to Rohit at the start and then once he reached his half century he looked in fine flow. India were set a target of 271 by South Africa and they are well on track after a opening partnership of more than 150.
With this innings, Yashasvi Jaiswal has surely been able to announce himself in style and ring the bell for the selectors. Jaiswal has been scoring consistently in the longest format of the game, and now getting hundred in the one-day format surely sets the tone for the young gun.

Earlier in the match, South Africa was bundled out for 270 runs. In reply, Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave fantastic start, helping India to comfortably chase the score and win series 2-1.
