Krafton has introduced the BGMI Cricket League, a free-to-play in-game minigame designed to coincide with the ongoing T20 cricket season. This limited-time event allows players to engage with real-world matches to earn rare rewards, most notably the return of the iconic M416 Glacier skin. The minigame bridges the gap between traditional battle royale gameplay and real-world sports engagement. Players can pick real-world teams from ongoing T20 matches directly within the app.If your selected team wins its real-life match, you earn Support and Win Spin Tokens.

These tokens can be used in the Glacier Lucky Spin to unlock rewards like skins, outfits, and other collectibles. The feature does not involve real-money betting or predictions; it is strictly an interactive engagement tool for fans. The return of the M416 Glacier skin is the event's biggest highlight. It is currently available through the Glacier Lucky Spin using tokens earned from the minigame.Krafton has also introduced redeem codes that offer a chance to win the skin, running through July 9, 2026.

BGMI and IPL 2026 collaboration

The BGMI x IPL 2026 collaboration, introduced in the Version 4.3 update, marks a major strategic partnership between Krafton India and two of the league's biggest franchises: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). This collaboration turns BGMI into an interactive fan platform, allowing players to represent their favorite teams through exclusive gear and in-game experiences. Launched on March 21, 2026, the CSK integration centers on the team's "Thala" identity. It features the Thala Legacy Set which is an exclusive character outfit inspired by CSK's yellow colors and visual identity and the Thala Monster Truck skin.

Following CSK, the KKR-themed content went live on March 25, 2026. The Knight Dominion Set is a high-end outfit designed with the purple and gold motifs of the three-time champions and the Eden Charge Buggy which is a team-branded skin for the Buggy vehicle, named after the team's home ground, Eden Gardens.

Special "Photo Booth" Points of Interest (POIs) have been added to Erangel and Livik, allowing players to take in-game photos with virtual representations of professional cricketers.
