According to the reports, the highly anticipated BGMI India-Korea-Japan Invitational 2025 is set to happen in October-November. Notably, India will get its second spot in the upcoming PMGC 2025 through these tournaments, the first from the BGMI Showdown 2025, which will be played from September to October. This type of tournament last happened in 2023 (India-Korea Invitational), where 8 South Korean teams and 8 Indian teams played in a LAN event in Delhi. Now Japan has been added to the roster.

As sources close to SportsTiger reported a week ago, Krafton India is set to host two major tournaments in the second half of 2025. According to the reports, the first tournament is set to be BGMI Showdown 2025, which is said to take place from 18 September to 12 October, featuring 48 teams competing for an INR 1 Crore prize pool, and the winner will get a chance to represent India in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025.

Now, an even more exciting update has surfaced. According to LetsGrowEsports, Krafton India Esports is planning a major tournament for the second half of 2025—the BGMI India-Korea-Japan Invitational 2025—and notably, it will serve as the second PMGC 2025 slot for India.

According to the reports, the BGMI India-Korea-Japan Invitational 2025 is scheduled to take place from 3 October to 2 November. This will be a 3-day LAN event featuring 4 teams from South Korea, 4 from Japan, and the top 8 teams from the BGMI Showdown 2025.

This is big news for Indian esports, especially after the cancellation of the BGMI Franchise League, comes up with even more exciting tournaments for the fans and teams, with PMGC 2025 slots at stake in both events. This means this time India will get two PMGC slots. Last time India played the Global Championship was in 2022, and now the stage is set for the country to showcase its skills at the highest level.
