Recently, Krafton India Esports cancelled the much-awaited BGMI Franchise League, which is set to be played in H2. They called off the first season of the tournament, stating that the current situation in Indian esports does not yet support the large scale and impact they had planned.

What is the next official BGMI tournament in 2025?

However, according to our sources, Krafton India Esports is now set to host two major events in the second half of 2025. However, the sources have not revealed the names of both major tournaments, but the first one could be BGMI Showdown 2025, which last played in 2022.

The first tournament will kick off after the ongoing BGMI Masters Series 2025, while the second might be played in November-December. Krafton India will soon announce the details officially.

Additionally, SportsTiger also confirms that the winner of one of the tournaments will represent India in the upcoming PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025 from November to December in Thailand.

About BGIS and BMPS 2025

BGIS 2025 was played from January to April, where Team Versatile, led by Sumraj, emerged as champions. The finals were played in Kolkata in a huge LAN event with a prize pool of INR 3.2 Crore. Godlike Esports secured the second spot, while Orangutan took third.

BMPS 2025 was played from May to July with a massive prize pool of INR 4 Crore. The Grand Finals of the tournament were played in Delhi, where Aryan x TMG clinched the title and a golden opportunity to represent India at the Esports World Cup 2025. NoNx Esports secured the second spot, while Los Hermanos Esports took third place.
