The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2026 has recently concluded in Chennai on 29 April with Team Soul winning their first India Series title. Now, after the grassroots event, Krafton is all set for the next tournament, BGMI Pro Series (BMPS) 2026. This is a pro series where all pro teams from India will compete against each other for the title and two Esports World Cup 2026 slots, starting in May 2026.

BMPS 2026 Set to Begin in May

The highly anticipated BMPS 2026 is all set to kick off in May 2026. The top-performing teams from BGIS 2026 will receive direct invites to the Pro Series. The exact number has not been revealed yet.

Notably, it's a Pro Series, and that's why there will be no open for all opportunity for the underdogs. However, Krafton India’s Associate Director of Esports has confirmed that there will be a few slots for the top-performing teams from the Upthrust Esports Rising India Series 2026.

Esports World Cup 2026 slots from the BMPS 2026

Indian gets two official slots at the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 at the Esports World Cup 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. One slot is already confirmed for the BMPS 2026 winner, while the second slot is expected to go towards the runner-up of the tournament.

PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2026 will take place from 6 to 16 August in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, featuring a total of 32 teams from all around the world. Indian has officially received two slots for the event.
