KRAFTON India has officially announced the BGMI Showdown (BMSD) 2026, one of the biggest BGMI esports tournaments of the year. The tournament is part of KRAFTON India's second-half esports roadmap and will feature 48 of the best BGMI teams in India. Unlike BGIS, BMSD is an invite-only event, which means teams cannot register to participate. Only the top-performing teams from the 2026 season will receive invitations.

BMSD 2026 will begin on September 22 and end with the LAN Grand Finals from October 16 to October 18. The tournament has a ₹1 crore prize pool, making it one of the biggest domestic BGMI competitions of the year.

BMSD 2026 Dates and Schedule

The tournament will be played across multiple stages before the Grand Finals.

Promotion & Relegation Week 1: September 22–24

  • Promotion & Relegation Week 2: September 25–27

  • Promotion & Relegation Week 3: September 28–30

  • Upper Bracket Survival: October 1–3

  • Lower Bracket Survival: October 4–6

  • Semi Finals: October 8–11

  • Last Chance: October 12–13

  • LAN Grand Finals: October 16–18

BMSD 2026 Format

A total of 48 invited teams will compete in the tournament. Teams will be selected based on their performances in the KRAFTON India Esports (KIE) Leaderboard, BGIS 2026, and BMPS 2026.

The competition will start with the Promotion & Relegation rounds, followed by the Survival stages, Semi Finals, and Last Chance. The best teams will then qualify for the offline Grand Finals.

KRAFTON India has not yet announced the venue for the LAN Finals.

After BMSD 2026 ends, KRAFTON India will host the BGMI International Cup (BMIC) 2026) from October 30 to November 1. Unlike BMSD, BMIC will feature international teams from India, South Korea, and Japan, making it another major event for BGMI fans.

With a ₹1 crore prize pool and India's top teams competing, BMSD 2026 is expected to be one of the most exciting BGMI tournaments of the season.
