Germany’s BIG lifted the trophy at the inaugural Chennai Esports Global Championship (CEGC) 2025, defeating France’s Mousquetaires 3 - 1 in an electrifying Grand Final of Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. The team bagged $30,000 prize pool, and JDC from BIG was named MVP of the tournament.

Germany's CS2 team, BIG, featuring players like tabseN, JDC, prosus, FreeZe, and JBOEN, defeated the Frans' Mousquetaires in the final by 3-1. BIG delivered a commanding performance across four maps, Dust II, Overpass, Inferno, and Train, to secure victory over Mousquetaires and claim the inaugural CEGC title.

The CEGC brought together elite teams from 31 countries across Europe, Southeast Asia, and India, representing the wide reach of this new tournament. Over several weeks of open qualifiers, top rosters earned their way to Chennai, showcasing the tournament’s global reach and professional standards.

Following the CS2 tournament, the CEGC Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) championship will take place from November 14 to 16 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. India’s top mobile esports teams will compete for a ₹50,00,000 prize pool.
