Jonathan Gaming Confirms Exit from GodLike Esports

In his recent stream, Jonathan Gaming addressed the ongoing rumors, confirming that he is leaving GodLike Esports and launching his own organization.

He said, "Whatever you are hearing, to be honest the news or whatever is going on here in the industry it is true. After BGIS, I sat down and thought about many things... and to be honest, I took a decision. My thing is that if I am not happy, then I can't do it. Everything else aside, the first thing is that I honestly want to be happy. Whatever time is left, I just want to enjoy playing this game."

"I have taken a decision, guys. I guess you'll have to wait a little bit of time for that. For example, I can say just one more week. After this stream, I am going to the US for some work. Once I return from the US, whatever the announcement is, it will be revealed to everyone. The hint is that in the title, there are two emojis—one is the heart emoji and the other is the 'On Top' emoji. That’s the hint. I have one request for you all: please do not spread hate against anyone. Spread love, spread happiness, and keep everything positive." He added.

Jonathan is all set to build a new roster in his own organization. Notably, Jonathan will be a main assaulter in his lineup. Now, according to the leals, the 23-year-old will make the team around his former teammate Gunjan Thakur, aka Jelly.

Jelly is currently in the True Rippers along with KioLamao, Harsh, Hydro, and Rony. According to the reports, Hydro and KioLamao are expected to join Jelly in Jonathan’s new organization.

Jelly is an exceptional IGL who represented India at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 last year. He led the True Rippers to the 2nd position in the BGMI International Cup 2025.

Jelly has played with Jonathan for around a year when he was the captain of Godlike Esports from 2023 to 2024. However, his performance as a captain and as a player was not up to the mark in Godlike Esports.
