Following the farewell from Godlike Esports after playing 4.5 years for the organization, Jonathan has officially launched his own esports organization, “Team Apex Gaming.” However, the 23-year-old hasn't revealed his BGMI roster in the announcement.

Jonathan Launches Team Apex Gaming

Jonathan Amaral, one of the most popular esports athletes in India, has opened his own esports organization on Sunday. He left Godlike Esports on 4 April 2026 after serving the team for over 4.5 years in BGMI esports.

He said, “That was Level Three for me. When I gifted my father his dream car, there was a sense of pride in his eyes. And when I played, I saw that same pride in people in all of you. I was leveling up constantly. Somewhere along the way, I got myself my dream car, but all of this meant more than just winning."

“To globally represent a community that has given me so much, I had to grow more. Team Apex Gaming is here to be on top, to be more for the community, and to change how the entire industry works.”

“So start tagging your friends and let them know we are coming. It’s another mountain to climb, another victory that looks like hacking. I drive to make sure we can always proudly say, "TAG on Top," he added.

However, the BGMI roster has yet to be announced. According to the reports with the BGMI, Jonathan is set to add MOBA Legends 5v5 and Honor of Kings rosters and content creators.

Fans will see Jonathan’s Team Apex Gaming in action in the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2026, which is set to kick off in May 2026.

Additionally, the reports suggest that Jonathan is all set to team up with his former IGL Jelly and three assaulters, Harsh, Hydro, and KioLmao.
