The PMWC 2026 Survival Stage begins on August 11, giving 16 teams another chance to reach the Grand Finals. These teams could not finish high enough in the Group Stage for direct qualification, but they now have one more opportunity to continue their tournament journey. The Survival Stage will be played over two days, with the top teams moving forward.

The same six-match format will be used on Day 2.

The Survival Stage is an important chance for these teams. After all the matches are completed, the top six teams will qualify for the next stage and get a chance to compete in the Grand Finals.

With only 12 matches available across two days, teams cannot afford too many poor games. Placement points and eliminations will both be important.
