In one of his tweets, Anand Mahindra reshared the viral photo of the fan watching the Wales vs Iran match on November 25 and asked if this man deserves a trophy for this brave act.
The picture, which shows a FIFA World Cup match playing on a television screen inside the operation theatre even as a doctor continues with the surgery, is a testimony of the craze of the tournament.

The picture was reported from the hospital treating him for SP ZOZ MSWiA, in Poland’s Kielce. According to reports, the man underwent surgery on his lower regions in Kielce on November 25. He asked surgeons if he could watch the match between Wales and Iran while they performed the surgery on him.
His request was granted, and a television set was brought into the operation theatre while the man was given spinal anesthesia. Spinal anesthesia is used to numb the body from the waist down while the patient remains awake.
