There has been some excellent competition in the Club football this season. In this article we look at the best Club Team of the 2024/25 season. There is no doubt that plenty of the players will be from Paris Saint-Germain who were the most successful club side with their UEFA Champions League title and they also reached the final of the FIFA Club World Cup. In this article we make the best XI possible.
Manchester City Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has been the best goal-keeper and becomes an automatic choice. He will be joined by Achraf Hakimi, Willian Pacho, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha and Ousmane Dembele inClub World Cup adidas Golden Ball winner Cole Palmer is also in the side, as well as Spanish teenage superstar Lamine Yamal.
Van Dijk’s has done well for Liverpool following Arne Slot’s arrival, as the Dutchman continued to captain his side and guide them to Premier League success in 2024/25. Hakimi’s attacking ability made him crucial to his club’s dominance in 2024/25, as he racked up an impressive 11 goals and 16 assists in all competitions, including nine goal contributions during their historic Champions League run.
In 2025 Cole Palmer proved that he is a man for the occasions. Towards the end of the 2024-25 campaign, Palmer produced two Man of the Match performances for Chelsea in the UEFA Europa Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup finals. Palmer also helped Chelsea become champions of the world in July with a terrific performance against Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup final, scoring a superb brace and providing the assist for Joao Pedro’s goal. The 23-year-old has shown that he is Chelsea’s most important player and he has had a fabulous season.
Vitinha and Pedri form a good pair of midfielders. While Jude Bellingham has been consistently impressing in the Champions League and scoring or assisting while with England on international duty, Bellingham has often offered himself as Real Madrid’s chief goalscorer, excelling in his false nine role. The two forwards in the team are Ousmene Dembele who has been the best player of 2025 while Lamine Yamal has continued to shine this season.
