
The Brazilian national football team will be all geared up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and they would love to make an impact here. Their squad announcement came a couple of days ago and there was one player’s name that put a smile on the face of every Brazilian fan, Neymar Jr. There have been some new call-ups to the side along with some controversial names being left out such as Joao Pedro and Thiago Silva. Along with the inclusion of the veteran, Endrick the young sensation from Lyon has also been called up.
Last time out in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Brazilians reignited the Samba flare with some fine goals. It was vintage Brazil and the most iconic of goals came from Richarlison and the fans claimed that he was the new R9 as well. But all the expectations and build-up ended abruptly as Croatia knocked out Brazil. The game was lost in the penalty-shootouts and Neymar was in tears after the full time whistle. This time they will be hoping to turn things around as Neymar could be potentially having his last shot at the ultimate global title.
