Tottenham Hotspurs, one of the heavyweights in the Premier League, lifted a major trophy this year after many years of wait, thus ending their elongated trophy drought. They defeated Manchester United in Bilbao and were crowned as the champions of Europa League, which helped them seal a spot in UCL this season.

Tottenham have been developing their club step by step right from consistently investing in their academy, players and facilities which includes the brand new world-class stadium and state of art centre. A major credit in all of their progress goes to their Executive Chairman Daniel Levy who has been overlooking all of the development that Spurs have made in the 25 years. While Levy has dedicated contributed for majority of the last few years, but recently the Spurs confirmed to have parted ways with Levy.

I will continue to support this club passionately: Daniel Levy

In the club statement, Daniel Levy stated, “I am incredibly proud of the work I have done together with the executive team and all our employees. We have built this club into a global heavyweight competing at the highest level. More than that, we have built a community. I was lucky enough to work with some of the greatest people in this sport, from the team at Lilywhite House and Hotspur Way to all the players and managers over the years.”

He further added, “I wish to thank all the fans that have supported me over the years. It hasn’t always been an easy journey but significant progress has been made. I will continue to support this club passionately.” Spurs have also confirmed that there will be no changes to the ownership or shareholder structure of the club and it will be interesting to see how Spurs will perform this season with the changes and reforms occurring in the club.
