On Monday, during the award show, the Turkish striker was named his ideal player by picking out certain traits from different footballers. Kenan started with Lionel Messi, who has won the Ballon d'Or eight times, for the left foot. Then he picked Cristiano Ronaldo, who has won it five times, for the right foot.
Then the Juventus forward chose Ronaldo again since he was so good at finishing. He chose Dutch star Johan Cruyff, who won three titles, for football IQ. Later, the player picked Messi again because he could dribble well, and then he picked former German defender Franz Beckenbauer for his strength to finish his perfect Ballon d'Or player. Franz, on the other hand, is the first player in the history of the award to win it twice. Kenna Yildiz was in fifth place on the list for the Men's Kopa Trophy 2025, right behind Estevao Willian, Desire Doue, and Lamine Yamal.
Cristiano Ronaldo leads Lionel Messi in earning Ballon d'Or record win
The Portuguese forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has won the Ballon d'Or award more times than Lionel Messi. The forward player won the prized award in 2016 by a margin of 429 points. He won for the third time, and his best times were with Real Madrid and Portugal. The world-class player also helped Portugal win their first international title by winning the 2016 European Championships.
Similarly, he scored three goals and three assists for the home club in seven games at the UEFA Euros. Despite finishing at the second stage in LaLiga by one point, Los Blancos won the UEFA Champions League, where the 40-year-old forward scored 16 goals with four assists.
