The Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has set a new record by being the first player to score 10 away goals in a UEFA Champions League Season. In the away fixture of the clash between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, Kylian Mbappe scored in the 42nd minute, to get his 10th away goal of the UCL season. The French international continues to lead the attack for Real Madrid in the final third and has been a fine signing.
Kylian Mbappe finished his UCL season with a total of 15 goals, which was just short of Cristiano Ronaldo’s record. Ronaldo had scored 17 goals in a single edition of the Champions league but Mbappe's clinical form away from home has made the headlines.

Mbappé’s historic campaign shines despite Real Madrid exit, as Bayern edge thrilling quarter-final
Bayern Munich and Real Madrid faced off each other in the Quarter Finals of the Champions League. At the Estadio Bernabeu, it was the visitors who prevailed as Luiz Diaz and Harry Kane led the charge. The Real Madrid side was all in for a comeback and there is no other team with a better reputation in comebacks in the Champions League.

In the 2nd leg of the fixture, it was completely an end-to-end game as there were goals coming at both ends. Arda Guler opened the scoring with a goal in the first minute but the lead was short lived as Aleksandar Pavlovic equalised within 5 minutes. Later on Arda Guler, Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe scored in the first half itself and the score was 3-2 to Real Madrid. In the final minutes of the tie, Luis Diaz and Michael Olise scored two quick goals to regain their lead in the tie. Real Madrid had conceded a red card as well, which meant that there was no coming back. The match turned out to be one of the best and high scoring games in this edition of the Champions League. Bayern Munich won the match 4-3 and on aggregate, they won 6-4 against Real Madrid.
Kylian Mbappe was their most clinical performer, especially on away turf. He scored 2 hat-tricks in the season, against Kairat Almaty and Olympiacos. Kylian recorded the 2nd fastest hat-trick in the competition’s history. Despite the elimination of Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappe’s performance would go down as arguably one of the best.
The 10-goal away record is perhaps a very notable one as not even Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi could achieve the feat. Mbappe also had to face formidable defensive setups to find the back of the net. While strikers like Harry Kane are still in the competition, Kylian Mbappe holds on firmly to it as of now.
