Inter Miami took on Orlando City in an epic semi-final clash of the Leagues Cup at the Chase stadium in Miami. Inter Miami started the game on a fiery note creating chance after chance. However they weren't able to find the final product in the first half despite shots on target from players like Rodrigo De Paul and Luis Suarez.

Just before the end of the first half, Orlando City produced a moment of magic in the game as their winger Marco Pasalic made it 1-0 for the away team. There were claims of handball from the Inter Miami defenders. However, the goal was given as the ball was seen making contact with the chest of the player rather than the hand. IInter Miami started the second half all guns blazing aiming for a goal to fight their way back into the match. In the 76th minute of the game a foul was committed by D. Brekalo for which he received a second yellow and was sent off from the match. It was none other than Lionel Messi who guided the ball into the bottom right corner to make the scores level for Inter Miami.

 

Inter Miami will face Seattle Sounders in the Leagues Cup final

Miami were fuelled up by their equaliser and looked hungry for more goals to seal their ticket to the finals of the Leagues Cup. It was Lionel Messi yet again to rise up to the occasion with a brilliant run inside the box, a quick touch and go with his left-back Jodi Alba and slamming the ball into the far post to give Inter Miami the lead against Orlando in the dying minutes of the match.

The match was completely over after the Miami attacking midfielder Telasco Segovia linked up with Luis Suarez to score a beautiful goal and make it 3-1 on the night for Inter Miami. The Chase stadium went wild and the party licked off in Miami. All eyes are now on the final as Inter Miami will take on the Seattle Sounders in their quest for the first major trophy this season.
