Savinho, a 21-year-old Brazilian forward has become a promising young talent under Pep Guardiola since joining Manchester City in the year 2024. The youngster arrived from the City of Troyes which was under the City football group, and made his breakthrough into Pep Guardiola’s side after impressing everyone with his pace and flair moving forward.
The Brazilian international made a total of 48 appearances for City in the previous season and contributed to the success of his team by scoring three goals and providing 13 assists. The 21-year-old is very versatile as he can play on both the wings according to the team’s requirement. Despite the transfer interest brewing from Tottenham Hotspur over the signing of Savinho, Man City have made a huge announcement which has delighted their fans all over the world.

Man City have officially announced that Savinho has signed a long-term contract with City which lasts until 2031. Pep Guardiola has been very happy with Savinho’s performances and considers him as one of the future faces of Man City. Upon his contract extension in an interview with the media team, Savinho stated, “I am incredibly proud to be able to sign this new contract with City. It’s a very special feeling to know that Pep and the Club have placed such faith in me. It really means a lot to me and my family.”
Savinho further added, “From the moment I first arrived, I have loved my time at City. Everyone at the Club – and our fantastic fans - have made me feel so welcome and at home here in Manchester." It will be interesting to see if Savinho can live up to the expectations and keep on producing consistent performances to help City win Championships.
