Marc Guehi, the England footballer, 25, plays as a centre-back for the Premier League club Crystal Palace, being a rock of their defensive line after joining then in 2021. The English defender has managed to impressed a lot of clubs with his defensive traits, and since his current contract with Crystal Palace set to run out next summer, he could end up leaving them in the ongoing summer transfer window. 

Guehi was seen on a talk show with BBC Sport recently, where he went into detail about various aspects of his life. He had a candid and fun conversation with the interviewer, discussing life as a 25-year-old. The main highlight of this interview was when Marc Guehi revealed that he would have loved to become a pro-wrestler in WWE and said, “Growing up, watching WWE. It's on Netflix. I've seen some pay-per-views. I would love to be a WWE wrestler. It can be dangerous but the performance side of it… I'm a good waffler on the mic... making people believe you're the bad guy or the good guy.”

Throughout the entire interview, the English defender stated his story of becoming one of the most wanted defenders in English football. Guehi spoke about the people that have inspired him in his football journey so far. He also went on to detail why he still lives at home with his family apart from still wanting to fulfill his childhood dream of becoming a pro-wrestler.

Over the years, Marc Guehi has been a critical part of Crystal Palace in helping them win their first major trophy in more than 100 years, clinching FA Cup title after 1-0 victory over Manchester City. He also played a vital role in the FA Community Shield title win for Crystal Palace against Liverpool on penalties. It will be interesting to see if the young defender continues his reign with the Eagles or parts ways with the club before the conclusion of the ongoing summer transfer window on September 1.
