Star Indian batter Virat Kohli has been talks after he reportedly underwent fitness tests in London while the other players reported at Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru for the same. However, as per reports going around, all players cleared the set mark, but Virat Kohli receiving special treatment, invited criticism from the fans.
Furthermore, reports clarified that Kohli had acquired special permission from the BCCI and performed the tests under the supervision of a few members of the BCCI, who are in London. However, the 36-year-old has reportedly passed the fitness test, he continues to gruel hard and was also seen working closely with Naeem Amin, assistant coach of Gujarat Titans.

Recently, star Indian footballer Sunil Chhetri highlighted his bond with Kohli while revealing an interesting story. Speaking on Desi Premier League podcast, Chhetri, who is top footballer in India, not only revealed his admiration for Kohli’s fitness but also added that the Indian batter shared his fitness test scores with him. “A few days back, he (Kohli) was sending me his scores of one of the tests he was doing in London. It is so addictive, and it is so good to know these kind of people. On your bad days when you feel a bit lethargic, you see them and think, ‘let’s go’,” Chhetri said, however he did not reveal the scores.
Not only this, the former India captain also compared Kohli with football great Cristiano Ronaldo, who continues to play aged 40. He continued, “I don’t know Ronaldo personally. I have watches him, studied him. I know Virat. The one common thing about these two is that they are not just happy with what they have already achieved. Whatever happened today, gaya (it is over). Otherwise, how does a Virat Kohli or Ronaldo get up and against be at their best? It is not easy.”
