The day four of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2025 firmly belonged to Puneri Paltan, who defeated Gujarat Giants in a one-sided contest by 41-19 at the Viswanadh Sports Club aka the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Visakhapatnam, to go top of the points table with two straight wins. Puneri Paltan inflicted three all outs on Gujarat Giants in a complete performance from their defenders Abinesh Nadarajan and Gaurav Khatri in particular, backed up by the raiders Aditya Shinde and Pankaj Mohite.

Earlier in the evening, UP Yoddhas were embroiled in a tough battle with Patna Pirates, but they eventually managed to earn a 34-31 victory, to make it two wins in two matches in the PKL 2025. Ayan and Maninder Singh, two of the key raiders of Patna Pirates scored a combined 16 points, but the raider pairing of Gagan Gowda and Bhavani Rajput for UP Yoddhas with their 12 points, coupled with captain Sumit and Ashu Singh’s brilliant performances in defence, earned their team a three-point triumph.

With 10 out of 12 teams in action across the first four days of the PKL 2025, Puneri Paltan, UP Yoddhas, and U Mumba have managed to secure two straight wins, finding themselves in top three places in the league standings.
