It turned out to be an intense day for the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) where we witnessed some thrilling contests. In the first match of the day at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Vizag, UP Yoddhas came out victorious against Telugu Titans by 40-35. The Yoddhas kept the lead for most of the time throughout the match. However, the Titans tried to make a comeback in the second half and got close to UP’s lead but ended up falling short by just five points in the end.
In the second match of the day, U Mumba and Gujarat Giants became a part of the second tie-breaker in PKL 2025 that too in just the second day of the season. Throughout the 40 minutes of play, sometime U Mumba took the lead while sometimes Gujarat Giants took the lead. In the end, the scores were levelled at 29-29 followed by a tie-breaker. In the tie-breaker, U Mumba held their nerves and defeated Gujarat Giants by 6-5 to register their first win of the season.
