The 12th edition of the premier kabaddi league - the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is all set to get underway from August 29. The tournament, which is set to return to its four cities format this year, brings excitement as the key players return to the mat for the milestone edition. But just days prior to the season 12, the organisers confirmed a slight change in the schedule.
With the tournament set to commence in Vizag from August 29, it is scheduled to move to Jaipur’s SMS Stadium from September 12 for the second leg. After a completion in Jaipur, the 12 teams are scheduled to travel to Chennai followed by Delhi. But the Chennai and Delhi leg have now seen a slight update. As per the latest update, the Chennai leg will now operate from September 29 to October 10, 2025.
PKL 12: Bengaluru Bull vs Jaipur Pink Panthers and Tamil Thalaivas vs Puneri Paltan moved to Delhi
However, the Delhi leg will now begin on October 11, 2025, representing an earlier start date for the Delhi matches. This change ensures continuous tournament action while accommodating for the revised Chennai schedule. The following matches, originally scheduled for October 11 and 12 in Chennai, have been relocated to Delhi.
On October 11, the matches moving from Chennai to Delhi are Bengaluru Bulls vs Jaipur Pink Panthers, and Tamil Thalaivas vs Puneri Paltan. On October 12, the relocated matches include Dabang Delhi K.C. vs Puneri Paltan, and Bengal Warriorz vs Bengaluru Bulls.
Notably, all other match dates, orders, and team alignments remain unchanged. The overall tournament schedule and structure continue as originally planned, with only the venue location changed for the specified matches on October 11 and 12.
