Recently Paris Saint Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that French forward Kylian Mbappe could be captain of the team in their next match against the seventeenth-placed Clermont Foot on 10 April. As reported by a French journalist Hadrien Grenier. He also talked about how he would want the 23-year-old to stay with the French giants amidst transfer rumours.

Pochettino was quoted saying, “We want the best for Kylian Mbappé for him and for the club - and the best for Paris Saint-Germain is that Kylian stays, it’s also the best for Kylian. I’m considering him as a potential captain for tomorrow”.

Kylian Mbappe has been the main target for the Spanish giants Real Madrid. But recently, after defeating  Lorient 5-1, the Frenchman gave some news about his future in Paris. The 2018 World Cup winner expressed that he is still confused about his future and will consider the  ‘new elements’ that could affect his decision.

Mbappe said, “I haven’t made my decision, there are new elements to consider. Which elements? Just new elements. I’m calm, I am trying to make the best possible decision together with my family. Had I made that decision I would’ve said it and embraced it. I always do that; I don’t need to hide. I just want to make the best decision I possibly can.”

Mbappe to Madrid confirmed?

LaLiga president Javier Tebas recently was quoted saying that Kylian Mbappe will join Real Madrid in the next transfer window. He said, "Madrid will get Mbappe and [Erling] Haaland as the others [Barcelona and Juventus] are half [financially] ruined," he said. That Mbappe comes is great news for LaLiga. It would be a joy for LaLiga. It's the best thing that could happen to LaLiga."

Later Tebas clarified that he doesn’t have any concrete information about the transfer but feels that there is a strong indication that Mbappe will leave PSG at the end of the season. Tebas said, "I have no information regarding Mbappe. But I've seen few cases of players who have six months left on their contracts that have not renewed their contracts and then went on to continue at the club."
