MS Dhoni continues to be a celebrated figure around the world. While it has already been over a year since he retired from international cricket, Dhoni has continued his association with the Chennai Super Kings as a player which is enough reason for now for his fans to go gaga and crazy about. Dhoni's latest addition to his collection is a timeless Land Rover. He reportedly purchased this SUV through the first online auction of classic and vintage cards organised by the Big Boy Toyz. The model purchased by Thala Dhoni is the 1971 Land Rover Series III Station Wagon.

The online auction from where MSD purchased his new vehicle also had other cars from brands such as Cadillac, Buick, Chevrolet, Austin, Mercedes and more. While the purchase price of Dhoni's new Station Wagon is not exactly known, the TOI report which has brought Dhoni's new car to notice added that an auction for a Volkswagen Beetle started from INR 1 and went up to Rs 25 lakh.
Dhoni's new SUV comes in its familiar guise with a 4X4 transfer case and is powered by a 2.3 L petrol engine. However, the exact details of his vehicle or any changes made to it are not yet out.
