Netflix is set to release the documentary on the legendary and arguably the greatest driver of all time, Michael Schumacher on September 15, 2021. The particular documentary will feature Michael Schumacher’s wife, Corinna, along with Mick and Gina and brother Ralf.

The documentary will also feature many Formula 1 personnel, from Mika Hakkinen and Sebastian Vettel to former F1 owner, Bernie Ecclestone. Knowing that Michael has never made a public appearance since his fatal accident in the French Alps in December 2013 where the seven-time World Champion hit his head on a rock while skiing, this is regarded as the family’s ‘gift’ to their beloved father and husband.

In the documentary, the entire story of Michael Schumacher’s journey into the Formula 1 will be displayed. Moreover, how he rose and what obstacles he faced while registering himself as one of the greatest ever to sit behind the wheel will be unrevealed.

During the announcement of the same, Netflix stated as quoted by The Teal Mango, “His strong will and triumphant fight to win against all odds put Michael Schumacher at the centre of global attention. Michael Schumacher’s journey has captured the imagination of millions, but there is a lot more than motor racing to the success of this very private man.”

Ever since Michael was discharged in 2014 and sent home, the entire Schumacher family has maintained privacy over his health updates. This will be the first time where the race fanatics could get a chance to witness their hero.

Having said that, this documentary will also include private recordings from the life of the seven-time World Champion with his kids and wife. Mick, who is currently a Formula 1 race driver, earlier mentioned this movie to be a highly ‘emotional’ documentary.
