The 92nd 24 Hours will take place on 15–16 June 2024, with an unprecedented field of endurance racing racers, according to the Automobile Club de l'Ouest. The new LMGT3 class will also make its debut at the race. Le Mans will be the fourth of eight events on the FIA WEC schedule in 2024.
It is to be noted that the LMP2 cars won't compete in the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship, although Automobile Club de l'Ouest is said to have reserved at least 15 grid spots for them. Alpine, Ford, and BMW are just a few of the new and returning manufacturers planning to enter vehicles in the 2024 competition.
This year, the 24 Hours of Le Mans celebrated its centenary year. Talking about this year’s race, Ferrari’s hypercar team won the race as they completed 342 laps in the allotted time of 24 hours. The Ferrari team was ahead by 1:21.793 of the Toyota team who finished second. The three-member team of Ferrari consisted of Englishmen James Calado and the Italian duo of Antonio Giovinazzi, Alessandro Pier Guidi.
The 6 Hours of Monza (9 July), the 6 Hours of Fuji (10 September), and the 8 Hours of Bahrain (4 November) are the upcoming events in the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship season.
