Preview:
Pakistan started off the T20I series with a win too and gained a good lead in this 4-match series. South Africa have enough time to stage a comeback but a loss in the 2nd T20I will block their way completely from lifting the winner’s trophy solely. It will be a good challenge for the injury-stricken and second-string South Africa team.

Analysis:
South Africa faced the wrath of Pakistan's experienced players and slumped to yet another defeat in this series. They put up a good total in the first innings as Aiden Markram and skipper Heinrich Klaasen scored top-notch fifties. Klaasen however mentioned in the post-match presentation that they were 10-15 runs short and this proves that South Africa want to adopt an aggressive approach to give a little freedom to their inexperienced bowlers while defending. Beuran Hendricks who has played 15 T20Is so far, stepped up to the occasion and picked up 3 wickets. Tabraiz Shahmsi too took 2 wickets but all went in vain.
Pakistan yet again displayed class and dominated against their Proteas opponents. Opener Mohammad Rizwan continued his dream T20 journey as he notched up yet another half-century. Rizwan scored 74 runs and his innings was laced with 9 fours and 2 sixes. Fakhar Zaman who was inducted into the side at the last moment, scored a solid 27. Hasan Ali and Mohammad Nawaz picked up 2 wickets each.
