Franchise T20 cricket, especially the Indian Premier League has become an indispensable part of the modern-day cricketing scenario. With so many advantages of such leagues, several nations have come up with their tournaments,  while others have pushed their players to be a part of big leagues across the globe. The format, due to its short tenure, attracts cricket lovers worldwide.

While almost all cricketers have been a part of the biggest and the most notable t20 league IPL, yesteryear’s popular names didn’t play T20 cricket, and hence, could never be part of the tournament. But, given their skills, it would be interesting to see how a few of them would have fared in the tournament.

West Indies legend Sir Vivian Richards is probably the first name that pops up in our minds when we think of players who would have set the bar in the cash-rich league. Richards was undoubtedly one of the greatest and the most lethal batters of all time. The 72-year-old had calculated menace and power, which resulted in several memorable knocks and an ODI strike rate of over 90. Needless to say, Richards would have enjoyed playing in the T20 event, and smash old records to create new every season.
