There have been several players who have represented Mumbai Indians (MI) over the years in IPL since 2008, but unfortunately, few of them have reached greater heights while others could have had a better career if they had played for CSK. Here, in this article, we will have a look at three such players who could have had great careers if played for CSK instead of MI.

1. Dhawal Kulkarni:

Dhawal Kulkarni played the first six IPL seasons for Mumbai Indians from 2008 to 2013, where he got an opportunity to represent the franchise 33 times overall.

Dhawal Kulkarni has been highly under-rated with the ball as he took 11 wickets in the 2008 IPL season, but post that he didn't get regular opportunities to play since MI had bowlers like Zaheer Khan, Lasith Malinga, Harbhajan Singh and Munaf Patel in playing XI regularly which made it tough to accomodate a bowler like him.

A bowler like Kulkarni could have done wonders for CSK as he could have played regularly in the XI for them in place of bowlers like Sudeep Tyagi (or) Manpreet Gony.
