Indian pacer Mohammed Shami is likely to miss IPL 2024 due to a knee injury that he faced while playing the 2023 ODI World Cup. Shami was last seen playing during 2023 WC final between India and Australia at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium. However, he was named in India's squad for South Africa Tests but had to withdraw due to the knee injury. As per latest developments, it has been confirmed that he would require a surgery for his injury and his IPL participation is under question.
