Indian wicketkeeper Sanju Samson suffered a finger injury while facing fast bowler Jofra Archer during the fifth and the final T20I between India and England at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on February 2. After the scans, it was found that Samson had sustained a fracture on his finger. Yashasvi Jaiswal
India’s young batting star Yashasvi Jaiswal could be in contention to lead RR in the IPL 2025 if Sanju Samson isn’t available due to injury. Jaiswal is among the top six retained players for RR ahead of the mega auction and had a good outing in the last couple of years. The RR management could play a card on Jaiswal to appoint him as a skipper for the upcoming season and prepare him for the captaincy in future.
