Temba Bavuma
Another surprising name that failed to find a spot in any of the franchises in the league was Temba Bavuma. What comes as a shock for his fans is that despite being South Africa’s captain in the Test and ODI format, Bavuma didn’t secure a spot in any of the teams.
Bavuma has been in good form for the Proteas lately, where he scored an unbeaten century against Australia earlier this month. The 33-year-old played 36 T20Is for his nation’s side. With a base price of around INR 37 lakh this year, Bavuma remained unsold in the previous edition as well.
