5 Indian players who won't get a single match in IPL 2025
Manish Pandey (KKR)
Manish Pandey, the 35-year-old batter, is bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for INR 75 Lakhs for the IPL 2025. The 35-year-old was also part of the KKR's IPL 2024 winning squad apart from being a prominent member of the franchise in title win in 2014. He has played a total of 171 IPL matches and scored 3850 runs. However, the batter is unlikely to get any matches in this season as KKR has a core of solid Indian and overseas batters.
Arjun Tendulkar (MI)
Mumbai Indians bought Arjun Tendulkar for the IPL 2025 for INR 30 Lakhs. The 25-year-old all-rounder has played five IPL matches for MI, taking three wickets with an economy of 9.36. As MI has a quality bowling attack with a lot of options on the table, there are low chances that Arjun will get any game this season.
Vishnu Vinod (PBKS)
Punjab Kings bought Vishnu Vinod for INR 95 lakh for the IPL 2025. The 31-year-old is an attacking batter known for his amazing big-shot-hitting ability. He recently played with the Mumbai Indians, where he showed glimpses of his amazing skills. However, with Punjab Kings packed with prominent names, Vinshu might not get any game time this season after missing last season due to injury.
Anukul Roy (KKR)
Anukul Roy, the 26-year-old all-spin bowling all-rounder, was bought for INR 40 Lakhs by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the IPL 2025 season. He played his first IPL game in 2019, but since then, he has spent most of his time on the bench. Overall he has played 11 IPL matches for MI and KKR, taking five wickets and scoring 26 runs. He is not likely to get any game time this season as KKR have spin bowling options like Mayank Markande, Sunil Narine, Varun Chakravarthy, and Moeen Ali.
Raj Angad Bawa (MI)
Mumbai Indians bought Raj Angad Bawa for INR 30 lakhs for the IPL 2025. The 22-year-old all-rounder is a like-for-like replacement for MI captain Hardik Pandya. He has played two games in IPL for Punjab Kings, scoring 11 runs. Since MI is filled with a lot of star player, prominent youngster Raj Bawa might need to spend his time on the bench this season.
