Luka Modric (Croatia)
Another all-time great of the game, midfielder Luka Modric has been the cornerstone of Croatian football throughout his illustrious career. Though Modric hasn't managed to take the Croats deep into a European Championship, he has consistently carried his national team to great highest like the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups. Hence with Euro 2024 possibly being Modric last major tournament he will hope to finish on a high.
